As we are an ever expanding Club we are seeking Qualified and Unqualified coaches to help deliver our sessions.
Maybe you are a Player and would like to try some coaching or perhaps you would like to choose coaching has a career path.
Webba Women’s Coach – We are seeking a coach (qualified or un-qualified) to drive our Flames to success. They are the longest outstanding team part of our Club. The Ladies are a great team and are really fun to be part off. The team continues to grow with the growth of our Club.

Level 2 Coaching course paid by the club (Subject to conditions)
Tools and Equipment provided to conduct role
We will provide you with the training and help you need to achieve your qualification. You will have the unique opportunity to assist one of our experienced coaches and receive expert guidance.
Your course will be paid for by the club which costs over £200! You will be expected to complete 10 voluntary sessions before you undergo your course. We will also provide you with essential equipment such as coaching pad, stationary and other coaching items. Once qualified you’ll be paid at the rate stated below.
We are a voluntary Club however we feel our Coaches play one of the most vital roles for the development and Runnings of our Club. Therefore we feel it’s essential to ensure they are rewarded for their efforts at our Club. Any new qualified coach to our Club will still be expected to start voluntary under a 1 month trial period. This is much as a benefit for the Club as well as it is for you as the coach.

Level 1 assistant Junior coaches – Voucher or gift of choice up to £100
Level 2 experienced £5 per hour or Play for chosen team for free (Club only)
Level 2 Highly experienced £10 per hour and play for chosen team for free (Club only)
Level 3 Senior Coaches £15 per hour and play for chosen team for free (Club only)

Trowbridge Basketball Club would like to wish all our Members a Happy Christmas and Happy New Year. We also want to thank everyone who has helped us in returning to Basketball this year to our coaches, officials and Volunteers, THANK YOU. We have many exciting things to look forward to in 2022.
Trowbridge basketball club has had a busy week as our new Junior programme and women’s basketball got underway!
Our sold out 13 Week Junior programme had a successful first week despite our lead coach Matt Analts having to isolate. We seen a total 47kids walk through our sports hall doors on Monday the 13th. We hope they all enjoyed there first session and are excited for future sessions with our Club.
Women’s basketball made a return on Sunday the 12th. The ladies have finally got back to indoor basketball and it was great to see players from Bristol attend our training sessions. The ladies are always looking for players to join there friendly community!
On Saturday we announced that we will be returning to Men’s WEBBA a local League we once took part in over 7years ago. This is exciting news for us as a Club and will help us to provide development for TBL(Central Venue League) players. This will help towards our aims to provide a recreational CVL easily accessible to new players. Although more planning needs to be done before we can register within the League.
New updates to our website will be made in the upcoming days to reflect the developments from the club.
After nearly two years away from our TBL we are so excited to announce the return to our League.
We have 6 teams registered into our League this year with plenty of opportunities for new players to join a team. We are happy to announce new teams Bristol Butterflyers and Frome Falcons. We hope all new and existing players are looking foward to playing in our League for the upcoming season.
TBL 21/22 season is just under 6weeks away. Our pre-season begins on the 25th of August 2021. The TBL regular season will then follow on the 13th of September 2021.
Don’t forget! Our annual All-star event is also returning for one night only on the 2nd of February from 7-10pm! This year we will introduce our new Vince Marriott Memorial Award in memory of our founder and coach Vince Marriott.
We are now well underway with our Men’s scrimmage and practice sessions! We have seen a great turnout and it’s been fantastic to see both new and old faces at the club.
We are approaching exciting times as we plan for a return to our TBL (central venue League) On August the 25th.
The full schedule will be out this weekend for all players to see. The League will include an extended pre-season, regular season and playoffs. Let’s not forget about our All-star event 2022. This will be our 3rd All-star event which will now feature our new Vince Marriottt award in memory of the Club’s founder and coach Vince marriott!
The award will be given to a young player that shows commitment, a great attitude, teamwork and potential. There will be a prise which will go towards helping the individual in their basketball development.
We have also hit the ground running with our new Junior Basketball programme. We can gladly say the 5week trail has been a success and will look to return in September.
If you signed up during the trial period you will have early access and the first opportunity to sign-up for the return in September.
We have teamed up with team PH. Team PH is a community made of car enthusiasts. We are all about helping out our local communities. If you are a car enthusiast and what to add your car to the ever growing crew why not join them.

Don’t worry our TBL team training is making a return. After the sessions success last year we have decided to run these sessions once again.

Phoenix Flames return for yet another season!
The women’s side have been going longer than any team within our club and we are happy to see them return again this year. The Phoenix Flames will be hoping to play in the webba league again this year after a great winning streak last season.

Our most popular session returns!
Sunday scrimmage sessions are our most popular men’s session and the session is ideal for new and existing members of the club.
We have some great news! Our NGB has announced a return to indoor basketball from 3rd of August. However all our Basketball sessions remain closed for now whilst we work with the school to agree on a return date. We will look to restart our sessions after the school summer holidays in September.
We encourage you to continue to make use of your outdoor court.
